I wrote my first guest post the other day. It was an intro to Xdebug for PHPDeveloper.org. I didn’t like the end result as much as my post on how to use Xdebug to speed up your code.

Not too much to say on this one, since PseudoCoder is pretty much a stock WordPress install. I’ve done one profile so far and have 3 more lined up. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to continue at one a week after that, since I’m having a harder time finding sites then I thought I would. I’m trying to actually contact the site owners rather than just gathering info from the website, which can limit the number of sites I profile. I will continue to make posts as I find web apps, even if it isn’t at the once a week rate.

The design for the blog is up. I alternate between “it’s not bad” and “ugh, that sucks”. I think it’ll look better once it’s filled out with some more content.

I’ve also begun recruiting some sites to write about. I have two already with a couple other emails out. There is some really cool stuff that people are doing in their spare time. I can’t wait to start posting. The schedule going forward is: 1) Try to get some readers and find sites to write about 2) Post the first of the sites around Jan 1 with a new one each week. Updates on PseudoCoder will be posted here, as I want the content on that site to more “Web App Profiles” and less “Site News”.

Yes, it’s a blog - a blog about web applications. More to come.
