If you have a super cool, independently built web app then we'd love to hear about it. We are only looking for sites that are:

Independently Built

This means the app was built in your spare time as a hobby (a term I hate, but it applies here). The number of developers doesn't matter. It can be a solo thing or something you put together with a group of buddies. Also the app should be self funded, so if you've received any sort of angel/venture funding your site doesn't qualify.

Web Application

We're not looking for blogs, no matter how cool the design is or how great the writing is. Other types of sites that DON'T fit: forums, portals, personal homepages, wikis, and Flash games.

What to Include

Please include only information you are comfortable being released in public.

• Your name and the names of any team members, as well as their roles in the project.
• Education and background of the team.
• The motivation and goals for this project.
• What tools were used to make it happen. Programming language, CMS, framework, database, etc.
• How long did it take to get where you are now.
• What type of success have you achieved to this point?
• Any interesting challenges or stories.
• Who are your main competitors? How does your app differ?
• Anything specific about the app that you would like feedback on from the community.
